Phoenix Winterfest Q500 - January 2012

The SAM-RAI Q500 model has done well again two years in a row at the Phoenix Winterfest race since its full introduction in 2011. This year with a 1st Place win in the new AMA 426 class, and 2nd Place in the last AMA 428 class by pilot Dub Jett.

The most impressive part, several pilots flying the SAM-RAI Q500 models finish in the top five spots in both AMA 426 and AMA 428 classes. This is truly a testament of a very competitive design and performances of the airplanes against all the planes out there in the market.

The new precision aluminum plugs are now ready for fiberglass molds production. We look forward with great enthusiasms in making one of the finest and most precise fuselage molds from these CNC milled aluminum plugs for our SAM-RAI Q500.

SAM-RAI Racing is an authorized dealer for FrSky radio systems in the United States. Prior to becoming a dealer, we put these products to the test under extreme pylon racing environment. We're more than happy to announce it passed. Raced tested and raced proven with excellent results and performances, and with rock-solid reliability in our racing models.

If you are looking to upgrade your old Futaba, JR or Hitec 72MHz radio systems to the most advanced 2.4GHz technology with the longest range capabilities, the FrSky extended range (up to 4 miles*) V8FT and V8JT systems are the right choice. Tested and reviewed as the leading Chinese 2.4GHz RC technology, and approved by many model associations.

ACCST (Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology) is FrSky advanced technology. The ACCST 2.4GHz system shifts the frequency hundreds of times per second, which means there are no signal conflicts or interruptions.

Welcome to our Q500 product features and informational section!

We have three different Q500 kits to choose from. Wood kits, semi-composite and full composite kits based on pricing and racing classes. Whether you are a beginner flying AMA 424 class or moving up to AMA 428 class and want a full blown composite kits, we have what you're looking for.

Our SAM-RAI Q500 model was designed to attain the highest top-speed and manufactured using the highest quality materials available. By using high strength, high temperature epoxy (250F Degree) and high-tech composite materials such as Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Rohacell with fiberglass cloth combined in the right areas in the lay up, we're able to produce a very strong and yet light weight composite kits that hold up to AMA 428 racing demand.

We didn't just use the finest materials and stop there. Our composite kits are manufactured with the use of the finest CNC aluminum milled molds, and with our Precision Composite Manufacturing process, we are able to attain the highest quality racing model anywhere. Although the precision aluminum molds and materials we used are very expensive but our prices are still reasonable, and the quality of the molded parts are second to none.
